So now we are not supposed to say “Merry Christmas” because it might offend someone?This seems to be the big controversy this year, as well as others. A local radio station just had their “burning question” feature of the morning, where listeners can call in and voice their opinion. The burning question of the morning was should we say Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays.Someone called in and actually said that we should say only Happy Holidays so that we do not hurt someone’s feelings.Oh please!Exactly when did we pass the rule that says the majority has to feel bad, be labeled intolerant, and change because of a few whiners?What a raging sense of entitlement. Sorry, not going to do it!OK, I’m in the majority, so it is easy for me to say this.
